Elderly people mostly depend on others to meet their basic needs. In Pakistan, some financial assistance was available through pensions for retired public sector employees. From which they could be able to fulfill their basic needs of life. However, the government of Pakistan started the
Ehsaas Ba Himmat Bazurg to provide financial and physical support to people who do not have government jobs. The elderly people of our society need help to meet their living needs. This support can be financial or physical. Our government has made very few programs for the elderly and there are very few departments that are working for the economic security of the elderly.
Or they have created departments that are not accessible to the elderly. The government of Pakistan started the Bahamat Bazurg Program on October 8, 2011. The purpose of starting this program is to provide complete financial assistance to the poor people in Pakistan. And to lift them out of poverty.

Bahimat Bazurg Program
The purpose of launching the Bahimat Bazurg Program is to improve the social and economic life of poor Bazurg citizens in Pakistan. This program was started to improve the economic life of poor elderly people by providing dignified social pensions. The purpose of this program is to provide social pensions to these Bazurg citizens above 65 years of age to protect them from economic risks and enable them to lead a dignified life.
This program provides financial assistance of Rs 2000 per month to elderly women of deserving families who are not eligible for the Benazir Income Support Programme. As per the eligibility criteria, in case of the death of an eligible female, the male members of the family who are 65 years of age or above are eligible for this program.
This program covers the most vulnerable people in Punjab and provides them with the means to meet their financial needs. Ehsaas Bahammat Bazurg as an independent institution is trying to provide a comprehensive and effective social security system to the poorest members of the society. This program has taken many steps to provide financial assistance to the poor and vulnerable sections of Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria For Bahimmt Buzurg
Bahamat Buzurg Program was launched for people aged 65 years and above. In the current year, the government of Pakistan has allocated three billion rupees for this program. 2 thousand rupees will be given every month so that they can meet their basic needs. To check your eligibility for the Ba Himat Bazurg Program,
visit the official website pspa.punjab.gov.pk of the Government of Pakistan and click on the “Check Eligibility” button. Enter your ID card number in the designated space, your eligibility will be displayed on your screen. Only men or women aged 65 years or above can be eligible for this program. If an elderly woman dies, the male head of her family will get her money.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must have a poverty score of less than 30 to be eligible for the Brave Seniors Program.
- Your age should be 65 years or more.
- Those Bazurg citizens whose poverty score is less than 30 and who are not eligible for Ehsaas Program or BISP, can be eligible for this program.
- Those who are not getting a pension from any other source will also be eligible for this program.
- Class IV retired government employees can also be eligible for this program.

Ba-Himmat Buzurg Online Registration
Registration for the Bazurg citizen program has begun. This program is being run by the Benazir Income Support Program or Ehsaas Program. Under this program, poor people above 65 years of age will be assisted with 6000 rupees every three months. Benazir Income Support Program has allocated a weekday for registration to save the elderly from heat stress during registration. Only seniors and special persons will be able to register on this day.
And Ehsaas Program has started the Bahimmat Buzurg Program in Pakistan to serve the Pakistani people. In which financial support will be given to the elderly. This program covers Bazurg citizens who are above 65 years of age. As a result of this program, many frail and disabled elderly people will be able to lead a good life in society. Bahamut Bazurg Program Apply
If your age is 65 years or more then you can apply for this program. You go to the website of the Government of Pakistan and click on Bahamat Bazurg Program, then click on Registered. Enter all your information and register yourself. Once you are enrolled, a representative will contact you, and ask you a few questions about the Bahimmat Buzurg Program.
If there is more than one elderly person in your family then only one of them will be selected for this program. The amount you will get will be released from BISP. You will get Rs.6000 after 3 months or Rs.2000 per month. This is an excellent program for Bazurg citizens.
