Ehsaas Panahgah Registration
If you want to register yourself in the Ehsaas shelter, go to your nearest Ehsaas shelter center and ask for shelter from the supervisor. He will ask for your National Identity Card to assess your eligibility. You can be eligible for this program when you belong to another city, i.e. you are a commuter, or you are homeless. After your verification, you will be told whether you can stay in Ehsaas shelter and get free food or not.
Many poor and middle-class citizens in Pakistan do not have a good shelter to live in, and the government of Pakistan feels the pain of these people. Mostly the working-class people go to the big cities to work and earn a living, but they do not have a place to live, nor do they have the resources to eat.

Eligibility For Ehsaas Panahgah Program
Certain eligibility criteria are set to register in any program. The purpose of setting these standards is to assist those who truly need it. The eligibility criteria for this program are very short.
- Individuals or families who do not have their own houses and live on footpaths and darbars are eligible for this program.
- Those people do not have any source of income and they do not have the power to fill their stomachs.
- People whose lives are in danger like women, children, elderly or disabled etc.
- Applicant must have his National Identity Card
- Applicant must be a Pakistani.
Aims of Ehsaas Panahgah Program
The Ehsaas shelter program was launched in November 2019. Under this program, 34 shelters have been established in different cities of Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad, and Multan. Where residents are served free food.
