Ehsaas Langar Khana
Ehsaas Langar Khana Program is a step to eradicate poverty and reduce hunger which has been started by the Government of Pakistan under the Ehsaas Program. This program aims to reduce poverty and inequality in Pakistan and to improve the lives of needy people.
The Ehsaas Langar program focuses on addressing food insecurity and providing food to the underprivileged. The word langar originates from the Sikh concept of “langar”. Where all persons are provided free food irrespective of their social status.
This program aims to provide nutritious food to people who cannot afford their food. This program was launched especially for daily wage earners, the homeless, and people facing extreme poverty. The Ehsaas Langar Program has set up 112 langar houses that serve hot meals to the people, ensuring that they get a nutritious and filling meal at least once a day.

Eligibility For Ehsaas Langar Khana program
Most of Pakistan’s population lives in villages, and turn to big cities in search of sustenance and cannot afford rented houses due to lack of resources. Therefore, they are forced to stay on the footpath. Ehsaas Langarkhana program was started to provide relief to such people. The centers of this program are usually established in the areas where weak and poor population is concentrated.
The food distributed in this program is prepared with the help of local organizations. It provides a place where people can come together and distribute food. This program not only addresses food shortages but also promotes social cohesion, compassion, inclusion, understanding, and brotherhood.
One thing that should always be remembered is that the Langar Khana program is not for a specific group of people. Whether you are rich or poor, belong to any community or sect, you are a resident of any area, you can go and eat at Ehsaas Langarkhana without any restrictions. There are no eligibility criteria in this program.
Through this program, the government encourages creating such an environment where people can come together and enjoy eating together and develop compassion and understanding among themselves. Ehsaas Langar Khana Program helps the underprivileged sections to improve their quality of life.

Registration For Ehsaas Langar Khana
This program started in Islamabad. At that time, only one Langar Food was established. Now there are 33 Ehsaas Langar Khanas in all four provinces of Pakistan, which provide three meals a day to deserving people. Hundreds of people can eat from these centers every day because there is no discrimination in the food served at these langar eateries. You don’t need to apply to this program.
Registration in this program started in 2019 when Ehsaas Langar Khana was opened for the first time. But, now you do not need to register for this program. You can go and eat at Ehsaas Langar Food anytime. This program aims to provide food to all those who cannot afford it. When former Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Ehsaas Langar food for the first time,
around 800 people ate free food on the first day. Different types of food are cooked in Ehsaas Langar food so that even poor people can enjoy nutritious and delicious food. Under this program, roti, rice, dal, and chicken are served to the people. It is hoped that this program will be expanded in the next government, and the number of Ehsaas Langar Khanas will be increased.

The government of Pakistan has introduced the Ehsaas program app for the beneficiaries of the Ehsaas program. From which you can get information about all programs of Ehsaas. You can also get information about Ehsaas Langar food centers through this app. Through this app, you can also check Ehsaas Langar food or your village center. How to use this app is as follows.
If you are hungry and want to eat free food from Ehsaas Langar Food, then open the Ehsaas app. Go to the Ehsaas Langar Khana program section, and click on information. Select your district. Select Ehsaas Langar food, and check your nearest Ehsaas Langar Khana center. Choose your favorite center, and check all its details like meal timetable, center address, contact number, etc. Go there and eat free food.

The Ehsaas Langar Food Program was designed keeping in mind widows, senior citizens, and daily wage earners who cannot afford to buy food. Ehsaas langar khana is set up near hospitals, railway stations, and bus stands so that passengers, patients,
and needy people can take maximum advantage of this program, and aid reach the deserving people. Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye or Ehsaas Langar Khana program is the same program. It was started by the government of Pakistan on October 7, 2019. This program aims to eradicate poverty and hunger.
